Remey’s Inspirations 06
70 degrees in SF? We’re going outside!
Hi friends!
Spring is tiptoeing in here in SF. I say “tiptoeing” because some days are very warm and sunny, and then it would be 50 degrees again the next day. But, I’m so grateful for these sunny weekends. I had a little picnic last weekend and had a great time watching dogs running around while soaking in the sun. It’s Saturday as I’m writing this, and I might head to the park again after lunch.
Shibu the cat is curling up next to me while I’m watching video essays on YouTube. I’ve been going to work events, pop-ups, and catching up with friends back-to-back these past few weeks. I’m meeting a lot of new friends through these activities, and there is a lot of momentum in this area in my life. My weekly routine has changed drastically since the beginning of this year. I’ve been falling behind on workouts and meal preps, and I need a routine reset before starting Season 3. With my , I need to reconsider my content creation schedule. So, I’m working on all of that. But first, I need to give myself a break before I start hating everything!
With that being said, I hope March is treating you well! Below are some of my inspirations this week.
With love, Remey

Pop-ups (especially if they’re exclusive)
Photo taken at a pop-up market at Kindred Studio in San Francisco
I’ve been going to a lot of pop-ups lately and they are always PACKED. From food and beverage to local makers markets in SF, consumers are now more attracted to small businesses. I think it has something to do with the fact that these products are less accessible, so people feel like they need to purchase something because they don’t know when these businesses will do pop-ups again. Pop-ups are also becoming cool social events, so they attract a lot of hip consumers who are willing to pay in order to be seen as one of the firsts to try. I expect these pop-ups to pop up (heheh) more in the near future!

re-imagining clothing items / wearing things “incorrectly”
Anthropologie Large Lace Sequin Square Scarf
I’m really into re-imagining clothing items lately. It’s such a low-effort and creative way to refresh your wardrobe without spending more. I know these scarves-over-jeans moment might be seen as “too trendy” or “too perpetually online”, but adding interesting accessories to an otherwise simple outfit can give it a focal point. I also love love love sparkling things, and will always find a reason to make my outfits more sparkly, so I’m definitely going to incorporate this idea to my outfits!
